Although we already put our excellent ideas into writing, we still need a little help to optimize it and make it Google friendly.
In my early days of blogging, I just wrote my article and then publish, thinking people will find it. Well, guess what, it did not happen.
I hardly got any traffic on my site. It was not until I started using optimizing tools that I was able to improve my contents and increase traffic on my site.
I did not use the all the tools below at the same time since I did not know about all of them. It was through research that I was able to find the rest of these tools.
And now, these five tools are my must-haves when I am making my articles. There are other tools out there, but for now, these tools are the ones helping me.
5 Tools to Optimize Your Content
If you are not using the keyword planner of Google Adwords, then you are missing out. The keyword planner enables you to search for the most appropriate keyword to use for your content.
It will show you how high the competition of that particular keyword. And the best thing about it is that it also shows you other keywords related to the one you are searching.
In this way, if your keyword has high competition rate then you can choose from the other alternative keyword.
It is easy to sign up for Keyword Planner, and it is FREE. It will look like you are going to pay for it because you are going to register through Google Adwords.
It will actually ask for credit card details but don’t worry. You will not be charged. You will just have to pause the campaign once you are registered.
I was skeptical at first too because of the credit card details, but I was never charged since then.
This plugin is also one of the must-haves of blogging. This tool helps improve your content by optimizing your keyword, improving your content’s readability and other cool stuff.
It is so simple to use because it shows you what you need to modify and improve. It will even give you the green color when everything is optimized.
I love Grammarly so much that I made a whole post about it. Grammarly helps improve your content by checking for grammar errors, misspellings, plagiarism and more.
You can actually try Grammarly for FREE right now.
What good is a good content without a compelling image? I do not know about you, but I am a very visual person. I enjoy reading articles with pictures.
So to make a compelling image, it should be customized according to your branding. I use Canva for all my images. I use this tool because it is so easy to use. No need for technical knowledge. And the best part of it is, it’s FREE.
And of course, you have to have an intriguing headline for your audience to continue reading your article. A good headline drives traffic to your site and encourages engagements.
And there is a tool for this too. I use Coschedule to analyze all my headlines. Coschedule gives my headline a score and offers tips on how to improve my headline. I try to keep my headline’s score above 70%.
There you have it!
If you are not using these tools yet, you are really missing out. You’d better start using them. They are FREE to start with, so you will have nothing to lose.
